  Diving in Koh lanta, Thailand.
  Hey! Anyone here have insight about diving in Koh lanta? Going there in three weeks and planning on doing some freediving on my own and maybe take a (scuba) diving trip if i find a good company/group who hosts these (taking tips). In Lanta is it possible to just take off from the shore with the fins and start diving or is the area/water so murky

  Got the video back from my freediving trip in Thailand and I’m really frustrated with how many basic technique mistakes I made.
  Actually seeing the video I made so many basic mistakes that I’m really disappointed in myself. Among other things I saw: * my legs were FAR too bent when descending. They were more like the frog kick position of a scuba diver (a sort of _/ shape?) than straight as they should have been. * my arm pulls on the rope descending were probably way s

  Koh Tao freediving course recommendations?
  I’m staying near Blue Chitta on Koh Tao and it’s got me considering doing a free diving course there. I’m fairly comfortable in the water, grew up snorkeling and have been SCUBA diving for over a decade. Thanks! Update: I went with Blue Chitta and it was exactly what I was looking for.
